| Sterling Pass |
Just south of Sedona, Arizona is the village of Oak Creek, where you will find the trailhead to the Courthouse Butte hiking loop. The Courthouse Butte loop is an easy two or three hour walk around Courthouse Butte and Bell rock. Distance is 4 miles, with 500 feet of elevation gain.
Sterling Pass is a short, very steep hike up the west side of Oak Creek Canyon near the Slide Rock lodge. The very lush vegetation is uncommon for the Sedona area.
